Contraet Gosls <br />All pro.�}ects re��iving U.S. DOT tund�� will bt evaluated tor <br />th� appropriatsnes�� of 08 goals. Projeets will be evaluated <br />and goals establi�hed, utilizing the followtng �rlteria: <br />1. Size of projeot. � <br />2. Opportunitie� for DB's a� subeontractors, vendors, <br />supplitrs. � <br />3. Diaadvantagea popul�tion of Countiy in which work f� to <br />be performed. � <br />4. Existing DB goals being utilized in Lhe projeet area by <br />other State, Federal or local jurisdictio�s. <br />5. Pa�t experience on projeets similar to the pro�ect being <br />evaluated. <br />6. Availability of D8's. <br />T. Such other faetors as may affect the utilization of DB's. <br />Each projeet will be evaluated in conformance with the above <br />eriteria. Complete documentatfon will be retained of every <br />project �o evaluated. <br />Contraets whieh do not contain �peeific goals will contain the <br />following provision�: <br />1. "Polic . It is the policy of the City of Colton that <br />�a vantaged businesses as defined in 49CFR Part 23 shall <br />have the maximum opportu�ity Lo participata in the perfor- <br />mance of eontraets tinanced in whole or in part with <br />Federal funds under. this agreement. Consequently, Lhe <br />08 requirements of 49CFR Part 23 apply to this agreement." <br />2. "DB Obligation. (i) The ceeipient or its eontract�r <br />agrees to ensure that disadvantaged businesses as defined <br />in 49CFR Part 23 have the maximum opportunity to parti- <br />eipate in the performance of contracts and subcontracts <br />financed in whole or in part with Federal fund� provided <br />under this agreement.
