CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT (CONTINUED) <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF__ July 16, 1991 <br />SUBJECT: Report, Findings and Recom endation for Colton Ave. and "C" St. and <br />Colton Ave. and Fairview St. <br />ENVIRON'VENTAL IMPACT: <br />There is no environmental impact for signalized intersections. There is some impact <br />related to four way stops on major streets with higher traffic volumes due to peak <br />hour delays as noted in the Congestion Management Plan. <br />RECONV ENDAT I ON : <br />Staff has analyzed the two intersections as required through the warrant process <br />and would recommend the following: <br />1. Colton Ave. and "C" St. -- The Traffic Committee will be <br />submitting their recommendation as a supplemental to this <br />agenda report for this intersection due to the analysis not being <br />completed prior to the required agenda submittal date. <br />2. Colton Ave. and Fairview St. -- was found to meet sufficient <br />numbers to warrant a signalized intersection. <br />Staff recommends that Council allocate funds from the traffic fee account in the <br />amount of $100,000 for the installation of a signalized intersection at Colton Ave. <br />and Fairview St. <br />JCH/lj <br />CITY M"GER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Page 2 of_ 2 <br />Item No. <br />
