However, on July 21, 1992 OMT, Inc. <br />nodfied us of deficiencies %rith Digester No. 2 gashokicr cover and mechanical bar screm. By <br />letter of July 24, 1992 (copy anscJx4) we dinuled the Contractor to perform reamdial work to <br />correct deficiencies. We vo"Iy recommend that the City delay acceptance of Contract Work <br />until remedial work was oompkte. <br />OW, Inc. notified us that remedial work is now complete. We therefore re:cornmead that City <br />Cbwxil accept the subjea Contract Work in the amount of $66U31.33 and thereafter the City file <br />a Notice of Compledw. Ow records ind"t the $601.498.20 has been paid to Vido Samarzich, <br />Inc. by the City, leaving payn=t of $66,833.13 (10% retention) less the amount of liquidated <br />damam the City decides to &asess (maximum of $16,WO, 32 days at S5W.00 per day). Ms <br />anxmnt is due thbly-five (35) days afte4r the date Notice of CDmpkAion is recorded.
