Since that time, discussions between the City and District staff have continued and have <br />resulted in a proposal to recommend respectively to the City Council and the School District, <br />to each fund $35,000 (50% of the total). Additionally, staff agreement was reached to <br />investigate the possibility of entering into an agreement with a private farm to manage the <br />program. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT COUNCIL: <br />1. Approve a 50150 split of the crossing guard appropriation with the Colton <br />Unwed School District for 1994-95 at a total cost of $70,000 ($35, 000 each); <br />and <br />2.
