2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />18.56.060 FAILURE TO VOLUNTARILY ABATE A DECLARED <br />NUISANCE. <br />If an alleged nuisance is not properly abated within the period established <br />under the Notice of Intention to Abate, by the property owner, lessee or <br />occupant, a public hearing shall be held in accord with the provisions of the <br />Notice of Intention to Abate and Section 18.56.100. <br />18.56.070 NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ABATE PUBLIC <br />NUISANCE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON. <br />The Notice of Intention to Abate Public Nuisance described in Section <br />18.56.060 shall demand that the property owner, lessee or occupant, remedy <br />or abate such public nuisance within a reasonable period of time which shall <br />not be less than ten days. It shall also give notice of the time, date and place <br />that a public hearing shall be held by the Code Enforcement and Housing <br />Advisory Appeals Board, which has been established by the city pursuant to <br />the Uniform Housing Code on the question of the determination of the public <br />nuisance and the abatement of the public nuisance. The public hearing shall <br />be set for a date after the time afforded for abatement expires. <br />18.56.080 AUTHORITY TO ENTER UPON LAND. <br />The director of community development, the code enforcement officer or a <br />duly authorized representative of the community development department, <br />may enter upon the land for posting or serving notice. <br />
