Mr. Gonzales stated the annexation known <br />as West No. 30 was prezoned R -E, Residential Estates. <br />Mr. Gonzales concluded by saying this is a one owner parcel, the LAFC has approved <br />(� the annexation and recommended approval of Resolution No. 3834. <br />� seconded b ( <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros � y Councilman Rehrer, to adopt Resolution <br />Q No. 3834. Unanimous vote. <br />Q RESOLUTION NO. 38.34 - RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED <br />Q TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "COLTON ANNEXATION WEST 30" TO THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AND WITHDRAWING SAID ANNEXED AREA FROM COUNTY <br />SERVICE AREA NO. 38 AND IMPROVEMENT ZONE G OF COUNTY SERVICE <br />AREA NO. 389 AND COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 70 AND IMPROVEMENT <br />ZONE A OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 70. <br />ANNEXATIONS <br />East No. 31 <br />Planning Director Gonzales reported the resolution before the Council for consideration <br />concerns Annexation East No. 31, consisting of 6.663 acres located between Washington <br />Street and Barton Road, directly west of Hilltop Drive. Mr. Gonzales stated the <br />annexation has been prezoned R -3X, Multiple -Family Residential with Special Conditions <br />and has been approved by the LAFC. <br />Mr. Gonzales recommended approval of Resolution No. 3835. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to adopt Resolution <br />No. 3835. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3835 - RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED <br />TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "COLTON ANNEXATION EAST 31" TO THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AND WITHDRAWING SAID ANNEXED AREA FROM COUNTY <br />SERVICE AREA NO. 38 AND IMPROVEMENT ZONE G OF COUNTY SERVICE <br />AREA NO. 38, AND COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 70 AND IMPROVEMENT <br />ZONE A OF COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 70. <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />Index No . s C-6-78 & C-7-78 <br />Planning Director Gonzales reported from his memorandum to the Council, dated <br />June 28, 1978, saying the applicant for this conditional use permit proposes to <br />construct a single -story training facility for journeyman plumbers, fitters and <br />refrigeration technicians with concurrent construction of offices and meeting hall <br />for U.A. Local Union 364 on adjacent lot split property at the corner of Rancho <br />Avenue and "K" Street. <br />Mr. Gonzales stated review of the submitted site plans indicate the proposed use <br />and site design conforms with regulations set forth under the light manufacturing <br />zone, the proposed projects are consistent with the current base zoning designation, <br />and would be compatible with the surrounding uses, therefore, recommendation is for <br />approval of Planning Commission Resolution No. 881. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Planning <br />Commission Resolution No. 881.
