135 <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to endorse <br />and support the resolution of the City of Adelanto No. 78-39. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />League of California Cities <br />Mayor Gonzales reported it is time to designate the voting and alternate <br />delegate for the Annual League of California Cities Conference. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to designate <br />the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore as the voting delegate and alternate <br />respectively. Unanimous vote. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 885 <br />Zoning, A-8-78/Frances Torino <br />Planning Director Gonzales reported this item was referred back to <br />the Planning Commission at the Council meeting of August 15, 1978, <br />because the applicant wished to withdraw his application for a zone <br />change. <br />< Mr. Gonzales stated the Planning Commission heard the item on <br />< August 22, 19 78 and rescinded its Resolution No. 885, thus the property <br />north of Washington Street, Tract No. 9765 remains zoned R -3X and no <br />further action is required of the Council on this matter. <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 890 <br />Zoning, A-9-78/Annexations <br />Planning Director Gonzales recommended setting for public hearing <br />zone change applications for Annexations Nos. South 34 and 35. <br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to set <br />Tuesday, October 3, 1978 at 7:30 p.m., zone change applications for <br />Annexations Nos. South 34 and 35. Unanimous vote. <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 887 <br />Conditional Use Permit, C-11-78 <br />Planning Director Gonzales reported from his memorandum to the City <br />Council, dated August 30, 1978 entitled File Index No. C-11-78 and <br />Morror Airport. <br />Mr. Gonzales said it is the recommendation of staff that due to all <br />the constraints and since the airport has been closed for some time, <br />and the owners have plans to develop this property for industrial uses, <br />that the City not enter into a financial liability in the construction <br />or reconstruction of the Morrow Airport, further it is recommended <br />that the City Council approve the Planning Commission's Resolution <br />No. 887 for Conditional Use Permit for the development of a mobile - <br />home park. <br />The Planning Director said Mr. Coussoulis has agreed to an additional <br />condition, that is the designation of up to 100 spaces for family units. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to <br />approve Planning Commission Resolution No. 887. Unanimous vote. <br />Planning Commission Resolution No. 88e <br />Conditional Use Permit, C-12-78, Mobilehome Diversified, Inc. <br />Planning Director Gonzales reported from his memorandum to the City <br />Council, dated August 23, 1978. Mr. Gonzales said the project consists <br />of the development of approximately 52.1 acres into a 260 -space mobile - <br />home park with recreational facilities and natural open space amenities. <br />1978 <br />
