League of California Cities Mayor Gonzales reported it is time to designate the voting and alternate delegate for the Annual League of California Cities Conference. PLANNING COMMISSION REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Planning Commission Resolution No. 885 Zoning, A-8-78/Frances Torino Planning Director Gonzales reported this item was referred back to the Planning Commission at the Council meeting of August 15, 1978, because the applicant wished to withdraw his application for a zone change. < Mr. Gonzales stated the Planning Commission heard the item on < August 22, 19 78 and rescinded its Resolution No. 885, thus the property north of Washington Street, Tract No. 9765 remains zoned R -3X and no further action is required of the Council on this matter. Planning Commission Resolution No. 890 Zoning, A-9-78/Annexations Planning Director Gonzales recommended setting for public hearing zone change applications for Annexations Nos. South 34 and 35. Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to set Tuesday, October 3, 1978 at 7:30 p.m., zone change applications for Annexations Nos. South 34 and 35. Unanimous vote. Planning Commission Resolution No. 887 Conditional Use Permit, C-11-78 Planning Director Gonzales reported from his memorandum to the City Council, dated August 30, 1978 entitled File Index No. C-11-78 and Morror Airport. Mr. Gonzales said it is the recommendation of staff that due to all the constraints and since the airport has been closed for some time, and the owners have plans to develop this property for industrial uses, that the City not enter into a financial liability in the construction or reconstruction of the Morrow Airport, further it is recommended that the City Council approve the Planning Commission's Resolution No. 887 for Conditional Use Permit for the development of a mobile - home park. The Planning Director said Mr. Coussoulis has agreed to an additional condition, that is the designation of up to 100 spaces for family units. Planning Commission Resolution No. 88e Conditional Use Permit, C-12-78, Mobilehome Diversified, Inc. Planning Director Gonzales reported from his memorandum to the City Council, dated August 23, 1978. Mr. Gonzales said the project consists of the development of approximately 52.1 acres into a 260 -space mobile - home park with recreational facilities and natural open space amenities. 1978
