<br />Mrs. Margaret Berkebile, City Treasurer, spoke on behalf of the Colton Junior Woman's
<br />Club, advising that after 30 years of service to the community, the Club has disband-
<br />ed and they are giving the funds remaining in the treasury to non-profit organiza-
<br />tions.
<br />Moved by Councilman Hayes, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve Resolution
<br />No. 3950. Unanimous vote.

<br />ING DONATION FROM THE COLTON JUNIOR WOMAN'S CLUB.

<br />Mayor Gonzales referred to a letter dated November 21, 1979, from the Colton Chamber
<br />of Commerce regarding the proposed poker parlor club, which he stated has already
<br />been taken care of with the appointment of the ad hoc committee.

<br />City Manager Gonzales stated that after much deliberation and review of applications,
<br />he would like to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Trevino as Planning Director
<br />for the City of Colton.
<br />Mr. Gonzales also introduced to the Council Members Mr. Calvin K. Wang, Director of
<br />Community Services for the City of Colton.
<br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve appoint-
<br />ment of Mr. Robert Trevino as Planning Director for the City of Colton. Vote was
<br />unanimous.
