Roemer, Director of the West San Bernardino County Water District, requested the City Council select two of its Members to serve on the Lytle Creek Water Conservation Association and the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District's Service Area #8 Committee to study supplemental water supply from the Feather River. Mr. Roemer advised that the City of Colton is now in Service Area #8, and the cities of Rialto and Fontana will also be asked to appoint members to the two committees previously mentioned. Councilman Rehrer was concerned about the cost to the Colton taxpayers by getting involved in this matter. Discussion followed between Councilman Rehrer and Mr. Roemer with regard to the (:) Water District, Service Area #8, and the study for supplemental water from the Feather River. Mayor Gonzales stated to Mr. Roemer that the City Council will take his request under advisement and get in touch with him at a later date. RECREATION AND PARKS COMMISSION REPORTS AND'RECOMMENDATIONS: Mrs. Ann Blinkinsop, Chairperson of the Recreation and Parks Commission, gave each Council Member a copy of a report listing priorities and goals, adopted by the Recreation and Parks Commission on February 21, 1979, covering a period of one to three years for parks and recreation, which included an extensive park development and improvement program utilizing the Park Development Tax monies.
