No. 4645 <br />Mayor Pro Tem Rehrer declared the continuance of the Public Hearing. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Notice of Posting the Continuance. <br />Planning Director Aguilera reported on the Appeal filed by Harbor <br />Southwest Development, regarding the granting of a negative declara- <br />tion, advising that the builder has proven to Staff and the Reche <br />Canyon residents that their project will not cause traffic problems, <br />and will alleviate some problems by straightening out a curve, widen- <br />ing the road along their 960 foot frontage, contribute funds toward <br />the resignalization of Reche Canyon and Barton Roads, as well as <br />bring water and sewer closer to Canyon residents. <br />Mr. Aguilera continued it is Staff's opinion that the Planning Com- <br />mission's purpose -in requiring an EIR has been met by the builder and <br />questions about traffic have been answered; therefore, Staff would <br />recommend that the builder's Appeal be granted and that he be issued <br />a Negative Declaration based on the traffic study. <br />Mr. Aguilera concluded if Council concurs, it would be appropriate <br />to approve issuing a Negative Declaration and approval of Resolution <br />No. 4645. <br />Mayor Pro Tem Rehrer asked if anyone present desired to speak on this <br />matter. <br />AUG 2 0. iwr <br />(7) <br />Bids <br />Award of Bid, RTE Corporation, Transformers for the Electric <br />Department. <br />0 <br />(8) <br />Agreements/Contracts <br />0 <br />DSK Engineering, for the OTS Inventory Program, $2.0,200. <br />LO <br />(9) <br />Electric <br />0 <br />Southern California Edison Company refund. <br />Go <br />Q <br />(10) <br />Personnel/RDA <br />Consider rescinding Resolution No. 4631. <br />(11) <br />Claims <br />City of Grand Terrace -vs. the City of Colton.
