PUBLIC HEARINGS: Appeals Harbor Southwest Development Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections had been received. City Manager Elliott advised that the applicants, Harbor Southwest Development, are asking for a continuation of this matter. Mr. Jim Favia, representing Harbor Southwest Development, stated the company was requesting a continuation on this matter until they can complete the necessary data for their studies. After discussion, moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, the Public Hearing on Appeal filed by Harbor Southwest Devel- opment was continued to Tuesday, August 20, 1985, at 7:30 p. m. Vote was unanimous. Weed Abatement Res. No. 4624 Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Posting and reported that no protests or objections had been received. City Manager Elliott advised that the contractor, Ed Martin's Disc- ing, has satisfactorily completed the 1985 Weed Abatement Project, with a total number of 1,223 parcels abated, at a cost of $18,394.95. Mr. Elliott stated after the Public Hearing, if Council concurs, Staff would recommend adoption of Resolution No. 4624. Mayor Huntoon asked if anyone desired to speak on this matter. Upon no one stepping forward, on motion of Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, the Public Hearing was terminated. Unanimous vote. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to ap- prove Resolution No. 4624. Unanimous vote. RESOLUTION NO. 4624 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT ON COST OF ABATING NUISANCE. Landscaping & Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 Res. Nos. 4625 & 4626 Mayor Huntoon declared the Public Hearing open. City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests or objections had been received. Mayor Huntoon then called upon City Manager Elliott to report on the Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District No. 1. City Manager Elliott advised that the City Engineer, Glenn Wilson, will['11.1_1 make the presentation on the Engineer's Report and Summary of Improve- ments. Mr. Wilson referred to the Engineer's Report, prepared by Neste, Brudin and Stone, Inc., and introduced Mr. John Feenstra, the Engineer of Work Mr. Wilson then outlined the boundaries of the District, reviewed the plans and specifications, cost estimate, assessment roll, and assess- ment diagram for the Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance District No. I.
