RESOLUTION NO. R-65-90 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. R-48-90. <br />Car Allowances <br />City Manager Sotelo recommended approval of Resolution No. R-66-90 which <br />would add the City Librarian to the list of those designated employees <br />and officials authorized to receive a car allowance for City business. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-66-90. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-66-90 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, PROVIDING CAR ALLOWANCES <br />FOR DESIGNATED OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES AND RE- <br />PEALING RESOLUTION NO. R-17-90. <br />Director of Recreation and Human Services <br />City Manager Sotelo recommended that this item, concerning the Director <br />of Recreation and Human Services, be brought back at the next regular <br />Council Meeting, July 31 1990. <br />Budget <br />Mr. Sotelo advised the new fiscal year begins July 1, 1990, and recom- <br />mended the Council authorize the continuation of operations into the <br />new fiscal year, which can be accomplished by adopting Resolution No. <br />R-69-90. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Lofy, to approve <br />Resolution No. R-69-90. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-69-90 - <br />Agreements <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EX- <br />PEND FUNDS AFTER JULY 1, 1990, TO CONTINUE <br />NORMAL CITY OPERATIONS PENDING ADOPTION OF THE <br />BUDGET FOR THE NEW FISCAL YEAR. <br />Mr. Sotelo reported on the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement, creating <br />the Corridor Beautification Authority, which members will consist of the <br />County of San Bernardino and the Cities of Colton, Fontana, Highland, <br />Loma Linda, Montclair, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Rialto, <br />San Bernardino, Upland and Yucaipa. <br />Mr. Sotelo continued the Corridor Beautification Authority will assist <br />in furnishing landscaping, lighting and a program of beautification and <br />maintenance along freeway corridors. The Agreement requires one elected <br />official from each agency to serve as a member of the Board of Directors <br />of the Agency, each member having one vote. Each Agency is being asked <br />to contribute $1,000 toward the cost of preparing the landscaping master <br />plan, and the Redevelopment Agency currently has monies available to <br />5 S�l �. <br />
