Mike Brooks of San Salvador Catholic Church, Pastor <br />Chuck Casto of Church of the Nazarene, Pastor Jack Coleburn of First Assembly <br />of God, Peggy Hemminger for Pastor Verne Cooney of United Methodist Church of <br />Colton, Pastor Carolyn Fritsch of First Presbyterian Church, Bishop Glen Harris of <br />Church of Jesus Christ of Latter -Day Saints, Fr. Mike McNally of Immaculate <br />Conception Catholic Church, Pastor Buddy Reeves of Sierra Vista Baptist Church, <br />Pastor Jim Stovall of Colton Church of Christ, Pastor Eric Strutz of The Door, and <br />Pastor Clifford Gade of St. John's Lutheran Church. <br />Recess: <br />Mayor Gonzales declared a brief recess with a reception to follow. At 9:35 p. m., <br />the meeting reconvened, all Members present. <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />PARKS RECREATION & HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Cinco de Mayo Celebration <br />Parks, Recreation and Human Services Director Herron outlined events planned for <br />the two-day Cinco de Mayo Celebration. The proposed budget reflects about a <br />40% decrease in costs. Staff recommended approval of the fiesta as a way of <br />recognizing this City's rich hispanic heritage. <br />Motion by Councilmember Roman, seconded by Councilmember Lofy, to approve <br />the schedule of events and the budget at $13,181 for the two-day Cinco de Mayo <br />Celebration. Unanimous Vote. <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />(ITEM 28, Community Facilities District No. 90-1 (Mt. Vernon Corridor), <br />RESOLUTION NO.
