Public Works Director John Hutton spoke about the Host City Fee <br />which was initiated two and a half years ago by San Bernardino <br />County. $1.00 per ton was allocated as Host City Fee for future use <br />to upgrade streets and roads impacted by haulers going to the <br />landf ill. <br />By resolution, City Council has asked the County for funds; <br />however, the County did not have a funding agreement in place. <br />Recently, A funding agreement was received and has been submitted <br />to the City Manager. The South La Cadena Beautification Project <br />involves a 1.6 million dollar program, with multi -phases, <br />comprising the area from the I-10 Freeway, to 215 Freeway down to <br />Iowa, which involves the Cities of San Bernardino, Grand Terrace <br />and Colton. <br />Mayor Gonzales agreed we should obtain monies owed to us by the <br />County so that we can complete these projects. <br />There was brief discussion about geobase mapping. <br />Motion by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to adopt <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-27-92. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO.
