Moved by Council Member Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Roman, to <br />approve issuance of a permit to Jack's Disposal Service subject to <br />terms and conditions to be set forth by the City Manager, as <br />approved by the City Attorney. Unanimous vote. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS⢠<br />DESIGNATION OF HISTORIC STRUCTURES <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and <br />reported no written protests or objections were received. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera related that on December <br />11, 1991, the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission reviewed <br />the designation of the following three sites as Historic Landmarks <br />in the City of Colton: <br />Landmark <br />#17 <br />Residence <br />269 East "D" <br />Street <br />Landmark <br />#18 <br />Residence <br />387 North 4th <br />Street <br />Landmark <br />#19 <br />Residence <br />1121 North La <br />Cadena Drive <br />The three designations for residential dwellings were requested by <br />the Dwelling owners and were nominated on an architectural basis. <br />The designation will not create any financial impacts on the City. <br />Based on the Historic and Scenic Preservation Commission's review <br />of the historically eligible sites and their recommendation to the <br />City Council, staff recommended designation of Historic Landmarks <br />#17, #18, and #19. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this <br />matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Roman, to close <br />the Public Hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilman Lofy, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to <br />designate the three sites, known as Landmark #17, #18 and #19, as <br />Historic Landmarks in the City of Colton.
