Historic Designation <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported no protests or objections were <br />received. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera provided specific architectural description of each <br />locale which was used to qualify the following houses for historic designation: Landmark <br />#22 at 1077 North 9th Street; Landmark #23 at 640 North 4th Street and Landmark #24 <br />at 699 North 4th Street. He reported that the designation of historic landmarks is not <br />expected to create financial impact. Staff recommended approval of the requested historic <br />designations. <br />On motion by Councilmember Cisneros, seconded by Councilmember Roman, the Public <br />Hearing is terminated. Unanimous vote. <br />Motion by Councilmember Cisneros, seconded by Councilmember Roman, to Accept Staff <br />Recommendation and Adopt Resolution No. R-70-92. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-70-92 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON PROVIDING FOR THE DESIGNATION OF <br />HISTORICAL PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />Mayor Gonzales presented plaques to Maria Macias and family for Landmark #22 and to <br />Robert and Barbara McClelland for Landmark #23. Theodore Cook for Landmark #24 was <br />not present and Mr. Aquilera will deliver the plaque. <br />Landscape Maintenance District Assessments <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported that no protests <br />or objections were received. <br />Public Works Director Hutton reported that on May 19, 1992, the City Council set this date <br />for a public hearing in order to accept and adopt the Engineer's Report for FY92-93 in order <br />to assess fees to property owners for landscape maintenance. Staff recommended approval <br />of the Engineer's Report as prepared by NBS/Lowry, which is on file in the City Clerk's Office <br />and further recommended adoption of Resolution No. R-71-92. <br />Motion by Councilmember Roman, seconded by Councilmember Cisneros, to terminate the <br />Public Hearing.
