The existing Section 18.04.076 entitled `Banner, flag, pennant or <br />balloon" is hereby renumbered as Section 18.04.075. <br />SECTION 4. Section 18.04.076 of Chapter 18.04 of Title 18 of the Colton <br />Municipal Code is hereby replaced, in its entirety, to read as follows: <br />"18.04.076 Banquet hall. <br />"Banquet hall" means a large room or hall available to the public for <br />functions and events where food and drink may also be served." <br />SECTION 5. Section 18.04.077 is hereby added to Chapter 18.04 of Title 18 of <br />the Colton Municipal Code, to read as follows: <br />1118.04.077 Bar. <br />"Bar" means any premises engaged primarily in the sale of beer, <br />wine, liquor and/or bottled spirits for on -premises consumption, <br />pursuant to state licensing, excluding therefrom temporary beer and <br />wine sales." <br />SECTION 6. Section 18.04.190 of Chapter 18.04 of Title 18 of the Colton <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"18.04.190 Eating/drinking establishments. <br />drinking establishments" <br />place of business <br />primarily engaged in the sale of prepared food and beverages for on - <br />premises consumption, such as restaurants and short order eating <br />places. Subject to all other applicable requirements, beer, wine and <br />liquor may be served if incidental to the primary food business." <br />SECTION 7. Section 18.04.281 is hereby added to Chapter 18.04 of Title 18 of <br />the Colton Municipal Code, to read as follows: <br />1118.04.281 Lodge or private club. <br />"Lodge" or "private club" means a building or facility at which <br />people belonging to a fraternal organization, or other private group <br />or association of people, regularly gather or meet." <br />SECTION 8. Section 18.04.323 is hereby added to Chapter 18.04 of Title 18 of <br />the Colton Municipal Code, to read as follows: <br />1118.04.323 Meeting hall or place of assembly. <br />"Meeting hall" or "place of assembly" means a building or facility, <br />not including a banquet hall, where people gather for meetings, <br />services or other similar purpose." <br />RVPUB\HSHANE\753177.1 <br />-2- <br />
