2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />12 <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 <br />16 <br />17 <br />18 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />(Ord. 1009 § 5(b), 1959) <br />6.16.070 - Receptacles—Garbage—Recycling-Required—Construction—Capacity. <br />Every Owner, Tenant, Employee, or Occupant of any Premises where Garbage is created Shall <br />provide upon such Premises in a suitable place one or more Garbage receptacles, and Recyclin� <br />receptacles, together with tight -fitting covers, constructed of galvanized metal, rubber, plastic, or other <br />Material Approved by the Public Works Director, for receiving and holding all Garbage and Recyclable <br />Materials created upon such Premises between the time of collection and removal. Each such receptacle <br />Shall have the capacity of not less than three nor more than sixteen gallons, and Shall be watertight. <br />(Ord. 0-15-96 § 2 (part), 1996; Ord. 1009 § 6(a), 1959) <br />6.16.080 - Receptacles—Rubbish—Required. <br />Every Owner, Tenant, Employee or Occupant of any Premises where Rubbish is created Shall, where <br />necessary, in addition to the Garbage receptacle, provide upon such Premises one or more receptacles <br />acceptable to the Public Works Director to contain all Rubbish which May accumulate upon such Premises <br />between removals. <br />(Ord. 0-15-96 § 2 (part), 1996; Ord. 1009 § 6(b), 1959) <br />6.16.090 - Receptacles—Combined Refuse—Requirements. <br />If receptacles for combined Refuse are Used, they Shall meet the requirements stated in Section <br />6.16.070 for Garbage receptacles, except they Shall not be more than eighteen inches in diameter and <br />thirty-six inches in height. <br />(Ord. 1009 § 6(c), 1959) <br />6.16. 100 - Receptacles—Placement. <br />A. Excepting as stated herein, Garbage, Recycling and Refuse receptacles Shall not be placed within the <br />limits of any Street or Alley, unless authorized by the Public Works Director, nor Shall they be placed <br />anywhere so as to constitute a Nuisance. <br />B. Not earlier than six p.m. of the Day before each Day set for collection, receptacles to be collected <br />Shall be placed as follows: <br />1. Where there is an Alley in the rear of the Premises, the receptacles Shall be placed in such Alley <br />and next to the rear Property line of such Premises. <br />2. In all other cases the receptacles Shall be placed on the Curb in front of the Premises. <br />(Ord. 0-15-96 § 2 (part), 1996; Ord. 1009 § 6(d), 1959) <br />6.16.110 - Receptacles—Removal. <br />All receptacles placed for collection of Garbage, Refuse, or Recycling Shall be removed from the <br />Street or Alley within twelve hours after the contents thereof have been collected. <br />23152.06000\30578143.3 - 7 - <br />
